XV XII MMXIX - Yesterday was a phenomenal day, we hosted the 4th Athena Meet Event at @elysiumedinburgh in aid of @samhscotland ! To sum the whole day up in just a few words is impossible for me to do, it was a huge success! We had 23 amazing lifters compete, a big mix of my Athena lifters and lifters from around Edinburgh! I love how these events bring people together and give lifters the opportunity to try a powerlifting meet in a safe and fun environment! As it was still a competition, we had 3 winners by their IPF scores on the day: @lauren_musclemermaid @smamella @aresapstrengthandphysique I am so very happy and grateful that we had the best people helping us on the day. A huge thank you to Soulsby @atsapproved for announcing and MC’ing at the event! Thank you to the amazing referees @bernie_mcgurk @banksybb and @rauraidh_g2g_coaching for doing such a great job all day and for being honest and fair with all the lifters!
